32-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to a total of eight years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court on Wednesday to a methamphetamine charge and having his drug court probation revoked on four prior convictions.
Lonnie Williamson of North Poplar pled guilty to possession of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine and was sentenced to eight years in prison. He received four-year prison terms on four other charges where his probation was revoked because he did not successfully complete drug court. The prison terms will also be served consecutively to a four-year prison term handed down earlier on two Clinton County felony convictions.
Williamson had been arrested on the meth charge after 23 grams of meth was found in his possession after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash last December on Range Road north of Sandoval.
Judge Mark Stedelin said Williamson would get credit for past time served in the Marion County Jail on the multiple charges. He will also be recommended for drug treatment while in prison. Williamson will have to complete one year of parole when getting out of prison.
