BCMW Project B.R.E.A.D., in conjunction with Midland Area Agency on Aging and the Illinois Department on Aging, will be taking applications for coupons redeemable at the Farmer’s Markets in Centralia, Mt Vernon and Salem starting Monday, July 3, 2023.
Applications will be taken at the main office at 909 E Rexford Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9-12., the Golden Age Senior Center, 308 N Locust St, on Tuesdays 9-11:30.
Eligibility requirements are as follows. Must be age 60 or older and be at 185% of the federal poverty level or less. A short application process is required to obtain the coupons. When the application is complete, you will receive the coupons if you meet the eligibility requirements. If you are unable to come to the office, you can designate a proxy to pick them up for you. The proxy must bring a photo ID with your signed application. They will distribute the coupons until October 31, 2023.
