Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Mayer, 43, of Centralia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 1, 1980, in Centralia, the daughter of Steven Mayer and Michelle Smith.
In addition to her parents: Steven Mayer and wife Cathy of Centralia and Michelle Smith and Tom James of Centralia; Beth is also survived by the love of her life of 18 years: Scott Breiter of Odin; her three children: Reagan, Charlie and Cooper; brother: Tony Mayer of Effingham; sister: Jessica Mayer of Centralia; four step siblings: Tracey Starr and husband Rick of Centralia, Stacey Adams and husband Jason of Patoka, Trisha Timmons and husband Tony of Centralia, and Tom James and Brittny Martoccio; grandmother: Ursula Halter of Centralia; brothers-in-law: Christopher Breiter and Daniel Wathen both of Las Vegas, Nevada; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her messy mutt: Rocky.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: John and Irene Mayer, William “Smitty” Smith, Lee and Vivian Boozer, father-in-law: Merle Breiter, grandparents-in-law: Scottie and Bertie Breiter, and lifetime best friend: Mandi DeBernardi Hardy.
Beth helped with the opening of A Step Ahead Salon in 2010, where she was a cosmetologist. She enjoyed flowers and watching hummingbirds. Beth had a passion for reading her Bible. Most of all Beth’s family was her world and she loved them all very much.
Per Beth’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Rock Church in Centralia. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the church. A Private Burial will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.
