Alice Joan Bryant, 71, of Kell, Illinois passed away Sunday June 16th, 2024, with family by her side. She was born May 20th, 1953, in Sterling, Colorado to Tom and Alice (Arnold) Beasley.
She married Charles LeRoy Bryant on January 3rd, 1970, in Morganfield, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death.
Alice worked at NAL, where she worked as an inspector for 30 years before her retirement in 2018. She attended Main Street Christian Church in Kell, as well as once being a member of the Kell Village Board. She enjoyed sewing, but more than anything she loved spending time with family.
She is survived by her son: Chuck Bryant and wife Penny, of Kell; two granddaughters: Ashton Woodward and Emma Woodward, of Kell; one grandson: Braxton Bryant, of Kell; five sisters: Brenda (Charlie) Hayes of Iuka, Diane (Lisa) Beasley-Polk of Leonardtown, Maryland, Carol (Trent) Forsythe of Mt. Vernon, Lula (Keith) Blanton of Centralia, and Pam (David) Devor of Kell. Also, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers: Tom Beasley and Bill Beasley.
Funeral Service for Alice Bryant will be held Thursday, June 20th, 2024, at 10:00 am at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home with Pastor Scott McKenzie and Pastor Brad Green officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey’s Point Cemetery in Kell. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home.
