A 29-year-old Carlyle man has been arrested by Salem Police for driving under the influence of drugs. Kevin Roper of Slate Street was taken into custody when spotted by police backing up in the roadway around the intersection of West Main and College around 12:50 Sunday morning. He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he was later released after posting $100 bond and his driver’s license.
