The Salem Swordfish hosted their first big invite of the summer competing against all the southern Illinois swim league teams including Marion, Herrin, DuQuoin, Carbondale and Anna. Athletes swam in 5 events and their times for each were combined to get their overall places. First places from Salem came from Clara Crompton in 7-8 girls, Charlotte Johnson 11-12 girls and Caroline Foltz 15-18 girls.
2nd places came from Finlee Cripps 6u girls, Mason Johnson 7-8 boys, Josiah Montgomery 13-14 boys and Austin Woolridge 15-18 boys. 3rd place from Drew Knapp, Liam Redenbo, Jared Crompton and Mikah Montgomery.
