Gary Finckbone, 77, of Sandoval, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, June 9th, 2024.
He was born on Friday, December 13th, 1946 in Kinmundy, Illinois, the son of Melvin and Geraldine (Smith) Finckbone. He married Sarah Tinsdale on December 17, 2021, and she survives.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Finckbone of Sandoval; two children: Anthony Finckbone and Angie Human; two stepchildren: Tracy Albert and Michael Parrish; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several brothers; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Gary was a proud Army Veteran and served his country with honor during Vietnam. He was a self-employed truck driver. Known for his great sense of humor, Gary was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Per Gary’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public service will be held.
