Both occupants of a vehicle escaped injury when a car ran off the 500 block of Main Street in Walnut Hill and struck a tree Saturday afternoon.
Initial information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates the vehicle was driven by 31-year-old Thaddeus Johnson of Elm Street in Salem. 40-year-old Raven Cushman of Salem Mobile Home Park was a passenger.
The Centralia Fire Protection District was called to the scene to assist.
The crash occurred at 2:43 Saturday afternoon.
