Centralia City Firemen say a stove was destroyed by fire at the Richard Harting and Sierra Lyons home in the 900 block of West Fourth Street on Thursday night.
The fire apparently had started during cooking.
Firemen used a dry extinguisher to knock down the blaze and then moved the stove onto the back porch. The home was then ventilated to clear the smoke. Fire officials say there was no lasting smoke damage.
The fire call came in at 10:19 Thursday night.
