Centralia man charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon

A 42-year-old Centralia man has been charged in Marion County Court with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.

Cedric Garrett of McKee Street is accused of being in possession of nunchucks when stopped by Centralia Police on June 6th.   If convicted, the charge requires a two to ten year prison term.

Bond for Garrett is set at $5,000.   The public defender was appointed to represent him.
