A 42-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for possession of a weapon by a felon. Cedric Garrett of McKee Street was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Centralia Police arrested 37-year-old Steven Grindstaff of Hester Street in Centralia for alleged domestic battery.
48-year-old Tonya Pannell of Pearl Street in Sandoval was arrested by Centralia Police for violation of a civil no-contact order.
Salem Police arrested two men wanted for warrants at Warmoth and North College. Police reported they initially spotted 32-year-old Adam Durham of South Marion in Salem who they knew was wanted and arrested him on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant in a retail theft case. Bond on the warrant has been set at $5,000. During the arrest, 38-year-old Timothy Finley of Spruce Street in Salem walked up and was taken into custody on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant for possession of methamphetamine. The bond is set at $10,000. Both were taken to the Marion County Jail pending the posting of bond.
Salem Police arrested 22-year-old Rhylin McCleave of Kell Street in Salem when he was spotted while police were handling an unrelated call near his home. McCleave was taken to the Marion County Jail where he posted $500 bond and was released. Police say no charges were filed in the initial incident where four juveniles were throwing a ball of string across the struck and damaged the mirror of at least one vehicle.
Salem Police arrested 41-year-old Aaron Bullard of North Broadway in Salem at his home on an outstanding traffic warrant. He later posted $300 bond and was released from the Marion County Jail.
Centralia Police arrested 41-year-old Edwin Steinkamp of Sanders Street in Wamac on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant. He is being held at the Marion County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
62-year-old Gary Smith of Heritage Drive in Centralia was taken to the Marion County Jail by Centralia Police on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant.
