Deaconess Illinois has announced it will open a Clinic Express at 3111 Broadway in Mt. Vernon on June 12th. The goal is to make healthcare more convenient for patients in Mt. Vernon and surrounding communities.
The new location will offer walk-in appointments, open Monday through Sunday with extended hours from 8:30 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. including holidays. The clinic will open with lab services and acute care visits. X-rays and Occupational Health services will be available in the near future. Most insurances will be accepted but are not required.
“Deaconess Illinois is known for its patient-centered care and we believe Deaconess Illinois Clinic Express will complement our primary and specialty care services we currently provide in the community, said Sarah Collins, Director of Practice Management. “With the extended days and hours, as well as the additional lab and imaging, Deaconess Illinois Clinic Express should be able to handle most acute care situations for patients making it one of the most convenient healthcare locations in the region.”
Deaconess Illinois Clinic Express will be diagnosing for a broad range of illnesses and injuries including, but not limited to flu, colds, upper respiratory infections, sore throat, sinus and ear infections, allergic reactions, rashes, UTIs, pink eye, COVID, sprains and strains. Additional services will include flu shots, sports and school physicals, and basic wellness screenings.
