Bond was set at $5,000 in Marion County Court on Monday for a 37-year-old Centralia woman charged with misdemeanor domestic battery following a late Sunday afternoon altercation and stabbing incident.
Centralia Police say they were called to the home of Erica Jackson on Maulding Drive after she allegedly broke a hot sauce bottle on a table during an argument and then struck her 17-year-old juvenile son multiple times resulting in a cut to the back of his neck and shoulder. Police reports indicate a fragment of glass was still in his neck when police arrived, but he refused EMS or hospital treatment.
Jackson had left the home before police arrived and she was later arrested during a traffic stop.
If released on bond, Jackson was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim or his home. A public defender was appointed to represent her.
