The City of Centralia issued new building permits in May totaling over $1-million.
The permits included one for construction of a new Team Mobile store at 1320 Walton Way in front of the shopping center west of the Walmart store. The 2,325 square foot store has an estimated value of $260,000.
The largest permit issued during the month was for a solar array at Intermountain Electronics at 400 Swan Avenue with a value of $285,570. A permit was issued to Straightup Solar for a $90,332 solar array at 817 East McCord.
Meadow Woods Holdings was issued a $110,000 permit for a large storage building at Castle Ridge. A permit was issued for a pole barn in the 500 block of Sunset drive.
A permit was issued for a mobile home valued at $166,770 to Monique Campbell in the 600 block of East 7th.
Other permits were for 12 fences, two small sheds, and a pool.
Total construction is placed at $1,036,601.
Two demolition permits were issued to Advanced Surgical Technologies to tear down an older home and shed in the 1300 block of East Third for a parking lot for their medical facility.
