Sheila F. Futrell, 72, of Centralia passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at her home. She was born on September 9, 1951, the daughter of Ray and Mary (Berkley) Futrell in Peoria. She married David Krietemeyer on November 9, 2012, in Jefferson County and he survives her in Centralia.
Along with her husband, David Krietemeyer; survivors include two sons, Chris Krietemeyer (Dee) and Mike Krietemeyer (Mitzy); her brother, Don Futrell (Connie) of California; aunt Grace Smith of Peoria; brother-in-law, Jim Krietemeyer of Walnut Hill; nieces, Laura Regeal (Brad), Sharon Williams; nephew, Chris Futrell (Jen), Dion Williams (Reva); great-niece, Riley Hall; cousin, Sherry Fenwick and Sherry’s son, Sean Ballou (Laura); and extended family members, and friends.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mary Futrell.
Sheila was a loyal employee of Wheaton Plastics of Centralia for over thirty years. After retiring from Wheaton, Sheila enjoyed going out to eat and trying new restaurants. As an avid animal lover, she cared for and was proud of her fur babies, her dogs, Keili, Hannah, Holly, Max, and Mico. Sheila will be dearly remembered as a lady not afraid of hard work, who always had a kind word and a smile to share.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Chaplain Joannie Naraghi officiating. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home in Centralia. Memorials may be made in Sheila’s honor to the Centralia Humane Society.
