A 23-year-old Salem man has been arrested for burglary after he was taken into custody near an early Sunday morning motor vehicle burglary.
Tony Rybacki of East Locust was identified by the alleged victim as the person who was inside his car in the 400 block of South Rotan. Items that had been taken from the vehicle were allegedly recovered during the arrest.
Rybacki was taken to the Marion County Jail where he had just been released on Friday after being arrested by Salem Police for an unrelated theft and resisting arrest charges. He had been accused of taking a decorative pillow and sea shells from the porch of a home in the 500 block of South Hamilton.
