A 29-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail on multiple charges after being arrested by Centralia Police on Friday night. Spencer Loyd of North Sycamore was taken into custody for home invasion, aggravated assault, aggravated domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, possession of a stolen firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon. No other details are yet available.
23-year-old Dillan Brown of North Avenue in Iuka has been arrested on a no-bond Florida warrant and on a Marion County domestic violence warrant with a bond set at $5,000.
Centralia Police arrested 43-year-old Terrend Laughunn of 6th Street in Centralia on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant with a bond set at $7,500 and a Washington County felony warrant with a bond set at $10,000.
53-year-old Paula Sanders of South Locust in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a misdemeanor battery charge. She was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Salem Police arrested 23-year-old Tony Rybacki of East Locust in Salem for theft and resisting arrest. He’s accused of taking a decorative pillow and shells from a home in the 500 block of South Hamilton. Rybacki was later located at his home after a person was believed to have been seen with the items. Police say they were recovered. Rybacki was later given a notice to appear in Marion County Court.
Salem Firemen responded to two fire calls Friday night. The first was a controlled burn that got out of control. The second was a brush fire near the Marion and Purcell Street intersection near the 911 building across from Salem Country Club. Both fires were put out without any damage. No buildings were threatened.
