Jennifer “Jen” Ann Lewis, nee Yauch, peacefully passed away on April 27, 2024, in Effingham, Illinois, at the age of 50. She was born on February 26, 1974, in Olney, Illinois.
Jennifer was known for her kind and loving nature. She took pride in her family and cherished her relationships. She is survived by her two daughters: Gwendolyn (Lewis) and husband Devin Hammack of Honolulu, Hawaii, Jocelyn Lewis and special friend Garret Bray of Centralia, Illinois, and her son: Russell Wimberly, III of Taylorville, Illinois. Jennifer was a loving grandmother to: Emma and Liam Hammack. She is also survived by her grandfather: Alan Pierson and special friend Darlene and uncle: Robert Pierson all of Flora, Illinois.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father: Ronald Yauch, mother: Linda Yauch, grandmother: Betty Pierson, and mother-in-law: Barbara Lewis.
Jennifer, also known as “Jen,” graduated from Flora High School. She had a passion for music and enjoyed listening to it in her free time.
Per Jen’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services are planned at this time to honor Jennifer’s life.
