Rolland Harley Devor, III, 64, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Atrium Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.
He was born May 8, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Rolland Harley Devor, Jr. and Raphella (Wotherspoon) Devor. He married Lori Ann Free in 1994 and she survives.
In addition to his wife of 30 years, Lori Devor of Cedartown, Georgia, stepmother: Janice Devor of Creal Springs, Rolland is also survived by his three children: Britney Devor, Bradley Devor, and Chrissie Pate; three sisters: Rachel Bryan and husband William of Bluford, Rebecca “Becky” Butts and husband Greg of Iuka, and Renee Eddleman of Christopher; one step-brother: Timothy Cook and wife Emily of Cheswick, Pennsylvania; three step-sisters: Terry Toon of Flora, Marjorie Workman of McCleansboro, and Julia Hufnagel and husband Mark of Murphysboro; several nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rolland was preceded in death by his parents, Harley Devor, Jr. and Raphella Devor.
Rolland served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the DAV in Cedartown, Georgia and a former volunteer firefighter for the Polk County Volunteer Fire Department. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Antioch Cemetery in Centralia. Military honors will be accorded at the gravesite by the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and the Centralia VFW Post 2055.
