A 19-year-old Salem woman was injured in a single vehicle crash on Edgewood Road a mile south of the Tonti Road northeast of Salem early Saturday night.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Bailey LeMarr of Jefferson Street overcorrected, lost control, ran off the road and struck a Tri-County Electric Pole. The pole and electric lines remained in place.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called to the scene, but cancelled when it was determined LeMarr had gotten out of the pickup truck on her own. She was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment by United Medical Response.
The crash occurred at 5:13 Saturday night.
