A 38-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Salem Police for aggravated domestic battery. Almande Hill of East McCord was taken into custody after police were called to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of North Broadway around 5:30 Saturday night. Hill initially tried to run from police, but stopped about 100 yards away and returned to the officer and was arrested without further incident. The female victim did not require hospital treatment.
Centralia Police have arrested 55-year-old Mary Faught of South Maple in Centralia for alleged possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-year-old Shelby Futch of Kell Street in Salem was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Fayette County traffic warrant. Futch was unable to post the $5,000 bond and was transferred to the Fayette County Jail at Vandalia.
59-year-old Aaron Hodge of North Beech in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding St. Clair County traffic warrant. He posted $350 cash bond and was released.
