Two new felony charges were filed Friday in Marion County Court.
Bond was set at $15,000 for 42-year-old Dameon Brown of East 3rd in Centralia after he was charged with aggravated battery. Brown is accused of striking a woman in the mouth at Tammy’s Hallway Bar on East Broadway. Centralia Police say the incident occurred after he became upset that the alleged victim was talking to his girlfriend. The alleged victim reportedly had bleeding around the mouth, but did not require hospital treatment. Brown had the public defender appointed to represent him and is due back in court on May 2nd for a preliminary hearing.
A 61-year-old Farina man was charged with felony criminal damage to property for allegedly breaking out a driver’s side window of a car without consent causing $500 to $10,000 damage. Greg Courson allegedly knocked out the window of a car parked at a west-side Salem business. A public defender was appointed to represent him. Courson was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bond.
