Michael L. Peacock, 63, of Fairfield, Illinois, formerly of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 9:27 pm on April 9, 2024, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born July 8, 1960, in Fort Benning, Georgia to the late Donald and Elizabeth (Meyers) Peacock. Michael married Karen (Gill) Peacock on May 20, 1983.
In addition to his beloved wife of nearly forty-one years, Michael is survived by his daughters, Lori Duncan and husband, Robert of Fairfield, Illinois, Leslie Peacock and husband, Timothy Donley of Ewing, Illinois; and Kristy Daniels and husband, Jason of Texarkana, Texas; siblings, Jeff Peacock, Mark Peacock, Donnie Peacock, Barry Marquis, Pam Ford; and eight grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his stepfather, Michael Marquis
Mr. Peacock proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as an EMT for Litton Ambulance and was a truck driver for Parrish Trucking.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, April 15, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Saint Louis, Missouri. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Michael’s honor at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
