Centralia Police have arrested 45-year-old Dameon Brown of Third Street in Centralia for aggravated battery in a public place. Police report he punched a woman in the mouth in Tammy’s Hallway on East Broadway when he became upset with her for talking to his girlfriend. The alleged victim had bleeding around the mouth but did not require hospital treatment.
Centralia Police arrested 32-year-old Fernando Garcia of South Hickory in Centralia for violation of bail bond and domestic battery after he allegedly struck an ex-girlfriend in the back of the head with a small heater and pulled out some of her hair. Garcia had left by the time police arrived. Later, the department received an open 911 call at the same residence where a disturbance could be heard. Police returned and took Garcia into custody on the new charges as well as an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant with a bond set at $2,500. He was later transferred to the Marion County Jail.
Salem Police arrested 61-year-old Greg Courson of Farina for felony criminal damage to property. He’s accused of knocking windows out of a car parked in a parking lot of a west-side Salem business. The incident occurred on April ninth, but Courson wasn’t located until Thursday. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Salem Police arrested 40-year-old Jaclyn Tate of Salem on a failure to appear warrant in a misdemeanor case when investigating a suspicious person complaint. Bond is set at $2,500.
State Police arrested 36-year-old Deana Hall of South Poplar in Centralia on a traffic warrant. She posted $500 bond at the Marion County Jail and was released.
