The Cougars won both their games at Casey on Saturday beating the hosts in the opening game 17-0. Anthony Buonaura went 4-5 with a pair of home runs and 6 RBI on the day. He also earned the win on the mound going 3 innings allowing 1 hit and striking out 7. Coen West worked the final 3 hitless innings.
SC finished their day with a nice 5-4 win over Breese Central. SC got RBI from Aidan Dodson, Andrew Magnus, Colton Smith, Zane Montes. Aidan Dodson earned the win after struggling a bit in the opening inning; he finished strong going 6.2 allowing 3 hits and 4 runs with 10 strikeouts.
