The Salem 10u baseball team opened up their season at Carlyle with an 8-3 win. Salem scored in the opening inning on an Issac Knapp single. After Carlyle tied it in the bottom of the inning, Salem pulled away in the 2nd thanks to a run scoring single from Izac Holsapple. Salem would tack on 5 runs in the 4th. Zachariah Jones, Maddox LoGrasso, Lucas Hicks and Zane Wesselmann all drove in runs in the inning. Brooks Heinzman struck out 3 and allowed one hit and one run in his inning of work. EJ Wolfe and Knapp had multiple hits as Wolfe went 3-3.
