David Pilman, age 83, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with a visitation one-hour prior to the service. Michael Durre will be officiating. David was born on December 25, 1940, in Kinmundy, Illinois, the son of Harvey Lee and Evelyn Lucille (Aumiller) Pilman. He married Mary Jo Joliff on December 6, 1975, in Alma, Illinois. David enjoyed camping and had a special love for antique cars and farm equipment.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Pilman; and daughters, Sarah Pilman and Sharon Pilman all of Kinmundy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Evelyn Pilman; brother, Charles “Bud” Pilman; and sister, Wanda Pilman.
