A 65-year-old Salem man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to unlawful delivery of methamphetamine.
James Whisler of East Olive admitted to delivering less than five grams of meth in a bust coordinated by the Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force in September 2021. A warrant for Whisler’s arrest was not issued until May of last year.
Whisler was ordered to serve 30 months probation, undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, and to make a $250 contribution to the drug task force.
