Floyd Leroy Royer, Jr., 65, of Junction City, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at home surrounded by his family and his beloved dog, Lulu.
He was born August 6, 1958 in Sterling, Illinois to Floyd “Spike” Royer, Sr. and Thelma (Louise) Hixenbaugh. Floyd loved to cook and worked in construction.
Floyd is survived by his ex-wife: Joyce Royer Boxx, a son: Bryan Royer, 6 grandkids, 2 brothers: Mike (Debbie) Royer, Sr. and Donnie May, Jr., 3 sisters: Kathy (Richard) Meyers, Cindy (Darrel) Brown, and Dawn Allen, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, son: Keith “Kiwi” Royer, a brother: Rick, and a sister: Tina.
The family would like to give a special Thanks to caregivers: Tammy and Cathy, as well as his niece: Misty, and sister: Cindy for their care of Floyd.
Per Floyd’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held.
