Betty Jo accepted Jesus Christ at a very early age at the First Baptist Church in Lundsford, Arkansas. Betty excelled in everything she did. She lived life to the fullest. She was a deacon’s wife and had a 27-year career with the Bank of America in Salem before retiring. Betty loved and supported Southern Gospel music. Betty sang for many years in a local music group called “Rejoice” during the 1990’s. Betty was an avid collector of fine jewelry, purses, and shoes, she enjoyed shopping wherever, especially with her granddaughters. She was an excellent housewife and enjoyed working with the flowers in her yard. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Salem. She enjoyed bowling and was always just an all-around happy, vibrant, woman during her early years. But most of all, Betty had an unwavering loyalty to her family. Family meant everything to Betty, up to her very last day. Betty will be very deeply and sadly missed by family and all who knew her. Rest in Peace, Betty. We will meet again. See you at the table. We love you always.
