Mary Evelyn (Cook) Pierce, 59, of Centralia, passed on February 8, 2024, in St. Mary Hospital of Centralia.Mary came into this life on January 22, 1965, born to George Cook and Evelyn (Tucker) Cook in Centralia. In 2000, she met and fell in love with her soulmate: William Marshall and he survives her in Centralia.In addition to the love of her life William Marshall, Mary leaves behind her daughter: Evelyn Carpenter, and husband Vincent of Michigan; her son: Zachary Pierce of Centralia; five granddaughters; 2 grandsons; one great-granddaughter; siblings: Georgia Lambert of Walnut Hill, Vernon Cook of Basil, Louisiana, Cindy Crane and husband Brad of Sandoval, and John Cook and wife Brenda of Centralia; and several nieces and nephews.Upon her passing, Mary was reunited with her parents: George and Evelyn Cook; daughter: Brandi K. Pierce; stepson: Jason Pierce; brother: William Cook; and sister: Ellen Casner.Mary was truly a one-of-a-kind. She was a kind and gentle soul. She had a soft spot for animals. In her younger years, Mary enjoyed going fishing and crocheting. She loved her family dearly. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her loss will be dearly felt by those who knew her and her presence missed unceasingly.Per Mary Pierce’s request, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time. Memorial donations can be made to the family to help them during this difficult time and can be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 N.
