Tickets are still available for the Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District’s 78th Annual Meeting and Dinner which will be held this Thursday, February 16th, at the Marion County Fairground Exhibit Building. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. The evening catered meal begin at 6:30 p.m.
Two District Directors will be elected during a brief business meeting after the evening meal. Selected area landowners and cooperators will be honored with conservation awards. The 2022 winning soil judging team, LUC 13 Envirothon team and poster contest winners will also be recognized. The evening will conclude with the presentation of door prizes.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased from the District office located at 1550 E. Main Street in Salem. Tickets can be reserved by calling (618)548-2230 Ext. 3.
