Wanda Mae Pilman, age 87, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Salem Township Hospital.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Casual attire is recommended. The interment will take place at Red Brush Cemetery in Louisville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Flora Humane Society, Red Brush Cemetery, or the donor’s choice. Wanda was born July 7, 1936, in Kinmundy, Illinois, the daughter of Harvey Lee and Evelyn Lucille (Aumiller) Pilman. She enjoyed the adventures of the outdoors, animals, and movies. Wanda was known for her incredible knowledge of classic cars and was referred to as the queen of roller skating in her younger years.
She is survived by her brother, David Pilman (wife Mary Jo) of Kinmundy, and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Evelyn Pilman; brother, Charles “Bud” Pilman; nephew, Charles “Chucky” Pilman.
