Anna Lou Eller, 93 of Salem, passed away January 17th, 2024 with family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 22nd, 2024 12 p.m. at the Grace First United Methodist Church in Salem with Rev. Christine Cunningham officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service, noon. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. She was born October 7th, 1930 in Vandalia, Illinois to Stephen and Edna (Brooks) Spinner. She Married Robert E. Eller on January 28th, 1949 in Vandalia, Illinois and he preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 sons: Ken Eller and wife Cindy of Salem, Ron Eller and wife Diane of Salem, and Tim Eller and wife Rhonda of Palestine, Illinois; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert E. Eller, and 2 step-brothers: Gary Bone and Gene Bone.
Anna Lou was a member of Grace First United Methodist Church in Salem, she retired from Marion County Health Department as their secretary in 1994, former member of the SCHS school board, active with the SCHS Sports Hall of Fame, she might be most known for being an avid golfer at the Salem Country Club, where she was a longtime member. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
