Sherri Irene (Williams) Feazel, 66, of Centralia, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.She was born December 27, 1957, in Centralia, the daughter of Gladys (Thompson) Walters and Avlin Pennington. She married Vernon Peters in 1974 in Centralia and they later divorced.Sherri is survived by her two children: James Ryan of Nevada and Wendi Kelly and husband Scott of Centralia; one granddaughter: Kelsey Kelly; three great-granddaughters: Farryn Ruepke, Piper Kelly, and Kenna Deadmond; numerous special step-kids and step-grandkids; special friends: Harry Ryan, Sr.; sisters: Tena Burton and Carolyn Carpenter; several nieces and nephews; her Farm Fresh co-workers and customers; and many friends new and old.She was preceded in death by her mother and father: Gladys and Alvin Pennington, sister: Susie Williams, brothers: Ron Schroeter and Tommy Williams, ex-husband: Vernon Peters, and nephew: Larry Lee Burton.Sherri worked at Farm Fresh in Centralia, where she loved taking care of her customers and made so many friends over the years. She was a sweet, caring, and indomitable spirit. She also was an avid Betty Boop collector. Sherri loved her family and friends.A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Sherri’s Family.
