Bobcats Improve To 15-5 With Win At Bartelso
The Franklin Park Bobcats improved to 15-5 on the season with a 46-40 road win at Bartelso. Salem trailed 32-31 after the third quarter and Bartelso made 8 three pointers in the game, but the Cats defense was good late and a big offensive rebound from Avery Gullion on a missed free throw by Salem late helped secure the win. Payton Gullion led Salem with 11, Trey Clark added 9, Jaret Gibson 8, Landen Maxey 7 and Avery Gullion 5.
The Salem JV also won 47-41 behind 15 points from Silas Lux and 10 from Kyler King. Owen Tennyson added 9. The Bobcats will play in Nashville tomorrow.
Iuka Knocks Off Patoka
Iuka beat Patoka 60-46 as Kaeden Bevolo had 28 and Austin Snow 11 points and 15 rebounds. Landon White had 7 assists. Brady Cain led Patoka with 27 points. Patoka won the JV game 47-21. In the loss, Trigg Aaron, Vince Krajefska, Landon White all had 6 points.
