Terry Lee Korzenewski, 61, of Centralia passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.He was born June 15, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Harold Workman and Betty (Boettcher) Davis.Terry is survived by his 5 biological children: Eric Korzenewski of Centralia, Travis Korzenewski of Centralia, Christopher Korzenewski of Centralia, Misti Korzenewski of Canada, and Jessica Korzenewski of Centralia; and 4 bonus children: Julie Renee of Centralia, Misty Cooley of Texas and Mike Montaya of Centralia and Brandon Pope of Centralia; three grandchildren: Brooke Korzenewski, Lucy Boozer, and Devan Sweet; two brothers: Rick Grobe and Audrey of Missouri and John Korzenewski, Jr. of Centralia; one sister: Brenda Korzenewski- Poschen; dedicated nieces and nephews: Brandon Behnke, “Little” Danny Korzenewski, Elizabeth Korzenewski, and Kayla Korzenewski; and several other bonus children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents: Harold Workman and Betty Davis, his adopted father: John Korzenewski, Sr., brother: Harold Daniel Korzenewski, sister: Debra Howser, and brother: Robert Allen Workman.Terry worked as a factory worker for many years. He had a passion for fishing, fireworks, traveling with his kids, mushroom hunting, night crawler/crawdad hunting, and Marlboro Mile hunting. Terry enjoyed exploring exotic caves and just being adventurous. He treasured his family and loved cooking Fried Fish and going out for comfort food with his family and friends.A Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Terry’s Family.
