Dr. Angela Freehill, with scissors, gets ready to cut the ribbon as Dr. Don Kovalski, Dr. Matthew Phillips, and Dr. Houle watch along with members of the Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce.

The Centralia Chamber of Commerce marked the opening of the new Orthopedic Center of Southern Illinois facility in Centralia on Thursday with a ribbon cutting.

Dr Angela Freehill says they are excited to get into their own building at 839 Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.

“We are super pleased to be here in our own building.  We have been renting in a major orthopedic care giver for years and years in the community but we have been very proud to start our own building here.  Continue to deliver excellent care to all of our patients.  We are a premiere orthopedic center.”

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marcus Holland is pleased to help celebrate the accomplishment.

“The Chamber of Commerce is always excited to have businesses reinvest in our community.  So we are happy for the Orthopedic Center of Southern Illinois to purchase this building in Centralia and make it what they need for them and their patients.  We appreciate their elevated care they give to our community and their patients.”

The Orthopedic Center of Southern Illinois has campuses in Centralia and Mt. Vernon, as well as satellite locations in Benton, Nashville, and Pinckneyville.
