Bass Named MVP As New Horizon Wins St Mary’s Title
New Horizon beat Trinity St Mary’s to win the tournament 30-17. Annalyn Bass led all scorers with 13. Liv Torrence added 7. Emrie Quick led Trinity with 12. The All Tournament team included Bass who was named MVP along with Autumn Moore of Odin, Saddie Pinksterhaus and Quick of Trinity, and New Horizon’s Tillie Castleman and Adaleigh Donoho.
Odin Wins First Game Of Season
The Odin Lady Eagles got their first win of the girls season in the St Mary’s Round Robin Tournament beating Raccoon 19-11. Kinley Haines led the Eagles with 11 and Leah Hodge finished with 4. Odin will travel to Iuka on Tuesday.
Selmaville Falls To Rome
Rome dropped Selmaville 30-22. In the loss, Allie Hustedde had 12 and Allie Cavins finished with 4. The Rome JV also won 36-7 with Keira Meredith scoring 4 in the loss.
