A 35-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to one year in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Andrew Szatkowski of East Green Street admitted to possession of a gun in May 2017. He had charges of unlawful possession of a weapon and ammunition by a felon and possession of a firearm without a FOID card dropped.
After getting out of prison, Szatkowski will have to complete one year of parole. He will be given credit for time served.
