Salem Police have arrested a 37-year-old Salem man on an outstanding felony warrant and a new count of possession of methamphetamine. Police report Timothy Finley of West Spruce was initially stopped while walking near College and West Main because they knew he was wanted on the warrant. He was then allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine.
The warrant is on a conviction for possession of a controlled substance, with a bond set at $5,000. Finley was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 56-year-old Scott Waldhoff of East Walnut in Teutopolis for alleged possession of methamphetamine.
Wamac Police arrested 65-year-old Howard Leeper of East Main in Odin on an Arkansas parole warrant with no bond.
30-year-old Rocky Robinett of South Franklin in Salem was arrested by Salem Police on a Marion County DUI warrant after being spotted by police outside his home. He later was released from the Marion County Jail on $500 cash bond.
Salem Police arrested 27-year-old Adam Vannoy of Salem Mobile Home Park on a Williamson County misdemeanor warrant with a bond of $3,000. Police had initially gone to the mobile home park on a report of a disturbance.
39-year-old Jonathan Bailey of South Maple in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police on a Marion County felony warrant with a bond set at $30,000.
30-year-old Lukas Murfin of Davis Road in Vernon was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a McLean County DUI warrant and on a new charge of driving on a suspended license. Murfin was released on the warrant after posting $300 cash bond and was given a notice to appear for driving on a suspended license.
