The eight senior members of the Salem Community High School Honor Society held a free-of-charge Fall Festival and Movie Night for members of the community Sunday night.
President Marrisa Wooters was pleased with the turnout of students as well as younger kids and their parents.
“Every year we have to plan things for community service. Last year we did something similar to this in April, but a lot of people like to do things in the Fall and Halloween brings out the spirit in people. It was really fun we had a lot of businesses sponsoring. The activities went hand in hand. The Eye Clinic sponsored an Eyeball Pong, Chiropractor sponsored the Skeleton Game.”
Hot dogs, chips, popcorn, hot chocolate, and drinks were served with the evening concluding with the showing of the Movie Hocus Pocus.
Originally the event was going to be held outside, but due to the wind was moved into the SCHS gym.

Food and hot chocolate are served at the Salem High School NHS Fall Festival.
