Lady Bobcats 1-2 With Loss To Aviston, Host Effingham Tonight
Franklin Park fell to 1-2 on the young girls basketball season with last night’s home loss to Aviston 40-14. The JV Lady Cats earned an 18-13 win. Salem is back in action at home tonight when they host Effingham.
Lady Rockets Take 3rd At Central City
Selmaville finished the Central City Tournament with a win over New Horizon in the 3rd place game 38-31. Allie Hustedde led the Lady Rockets with 15, Allie Cavins added 13 with Shelby Johnson finishing with 8. Hustedde was named to the All Tournament team along with Analyn Bass of New Horizon and Andrea Kibler & Sophia Skinner from Woodlawn. Selmaville will play at the Rome Shootout tomorrow morning at 9am.
Central City Consolation Champs At Tournament
Central City won the consolation title at their own tournament beating Sandoval 25-8. Mckenna Vandaveer had 12 to lead the Citians with Madison Ramey adding 6 and Addy Dukes 5.
