The SIJHSAA State Baseball and Softball Trophy games will be played today.
In Class L at Centralia, the baseball finals will see O’Fallon Fulton and Harrisburg after Millstadt and DuQuoin play for 3rd. In softball, Carterville and Marion play for the championship with DuQuoin and Mt Carmel playing for 3rd.
In Class M baseball at Herrin, Hardin County and Smithton play for the state title. Sesser Valier and St James ICC will play for 3rd. In softball, Johnston City and Nashville play at 3pm for the state title after Albion and Smithton play for 3rd.
In Class S baseball at Coulterville, Holy Childhood Mascoutah plays for the title against Woodlawn, St John’s Lutheran Red Bud and Galatia play for 3rd place. In softball, Woodlawn and St John Catholic Red Bud play for 3rd place at 1 followed by the state title game with Okawville and Jonesboro.
