The State Baseball semifinals were played yesterday. In Class L at Centralia, O’Fallon Fulton beat Millstadt 5-2 and will take on Harrisburg in the finals after their 19-9 win over DuQuoin.
In Class M, Hardin County over Sesser Valier 9-2 and Smithton beat St James ICC 7-3.
In Class S baseball state semifinals, Holy Childhood Mascoutah beat St John’s Lutheran Red Bud 9-4 and Woodlawn over Galatia 11-3.
In Class L softball state semifinals at Centralia, Marion advanced beating DuQuoin 5-1, Carterville over Mt Carmel 10-2.
In Class M, Johnston City beat Smithton 7-3 and Nashville over Albion 12-2.
In Class S, Jonesboro over Woodlawn 8-4, Okawville beat St John Catholic Red Bud 8-1.
