The Rosati’s Pizza in the Crooked Creek Crossing in Centralia is being sold and will become a Joe’s Pizza and Pasta.
Rachel Wallace, the owner of the Crooked Creek Crossing Shopping Center, says Ben Sperry, who owns Joe’s Pizza and Pasta of Mt. Vernon, will operate the new location in Centralia.
Wallace says Rosati’s Pizza will officially close on Thursday, October 6th. It will be four to six weeks before Joe’s Pizza will open at the Rosati’s location.
Wallace says they appreciate all of the support they have received from the community over the past few years at Rosati’s, especially during the pandemic. She is excited about the continuance of an upscale Italian eatery being available to the Centralia community. Wallace says Joe’s Pizza is a regional favorite that will be a great asset locally.
Sperry has owned and operated Joe’s Pizza and Pasta in Mt. Vernon for over six years. Sperry says Joe’s has always looked for an opportunity to come to Centralia. He adds being able to do so now, and in such a great space that Rachel has built, the fit couldn’t be more perfect. Sperry says they look forward to the new venture and hope to become Centralia’s favorite.
Joe’s plans to provide delivery, carry-out, and dine-in services with the best customer service possible. Joe’s currently has 18 locations across Southern Illinois. They serve pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and desserts. They are also available for catering.
