On Sunday, Salem Soccer’s 1st/2nd grade team and 3rd/4th grade girl’s team traveled to Damiansville. They each played two games.
The 3rd/4th grade Girls dropped their first game 1-4 against New Baden. They came back and won their second game 3-0 against Aviston.
The 1st /2nd graders dropped their first game against New Baden 0-5. They won their second game against Breese 3-2. Gavin Purcell, Nia Garden and Jonah Findley scored. Purcell and Findley split time in goal. Ethan Petrillo and Hadley Michel had some close shots on goal. Coen Dash was solid at defense.
