Bond has been set at $200,000 for a 21-year-old Centralia man who has been charged in Marion County Court with a Class X felony of aggravated criminal sexual assault and aggravated domestic battery in connection with a late Friday morning incident in Centralia.
Centralia Police say the incident allegedly occurred at 104 Fairway Drive. After the investigation, Isaak Clark was picked up by Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies in Richview and transported to Irvington where he was transferred to Centralia Police custody. After questioning, Centralia Police arrested Clark.
Centralia Police say they first received word of the incident in a call from SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. They had earlier been called to a report of screaming from one of the apartments on Fairway Drive and knocked on several doors but no one would answer.
Centralia Police report the alleged female victim received numerous injuries, especially to her face and neck. She was transferred to a St. Louis Hospital for treatment.
During the Zoom court appearance Monday afternoon, Clark was given time to hire an attorney with an October 7th status hearing.
