The Bryan-Bennett Library will host a Harry Potter Trivia Contest and escape room in October.
Trivia contest entry forms are available at Bryan Bennett throughout the month of October. Patrons may pick up a quiz that must be returned to the Library no later than October 27.
A drawing for the winners of two prize-filled tote bags will be on October 28. Winners will be announced on the Library’s Facebook page and on the Library’s website.
On October 28, the Library will host a Harry Potter Escape Room. Five groups of patrons will have an opportunity to test their knowledge of the books and ability to decipher puzzles, as they attempt to complete the escape room experience. Pre-registration is required.
Up to 8 people can participate in a group. Escape room experiences will be scheduled from 9:15 am to 1:45 p.m. It should take about ½ hour for each group to complete.
Those attending the Family Game Night on October 27 from 3:30-6:30 will be able to attempt the room as well.
The Bryan-Bennett escape room is modeled after an activity at another Library.
