Downtown Patoka was transformed into an outdoor music festival on Saturday as Drew Baldridge returned to his hometown to provide a night of entertainment.
Most of the crowd stuck around to the end of the five-hour event that also featured Country Star Craig Campbell as well as Southern Illinois acts Dylan Wolfe, Murphy 500, and Katie Hatch.
Baldridge sounded like he wanted to do it again as he talked to the crowd of about 2,500.
“There are a lot of emotions out here, I won’t cry next year. I’ll tell you what, as soon as I get down with the show, I want to meet everyone at the merchandise table and meet everyone here tonight. I’ll stay here till the last person leaves. This is a special night for me. I hope this was a special night for you guys too. We put a lot of work in this to make it special for you all.”

A two-block field near Patoka Village Hall in downtown Patoka was fenced in and transformed into the festival grounds. A large stage anchored the festival that included plenty of space for fans to stand or enjoy the music in their lawn chairs. Food and refreshment booths lined the side of the festival site.
